The Majestic Angelfish, also known as the Blue-Girdled Angelfish, is widely considered one of the most beautiful and easily identifiable large angelfish in the world. It features a stunning contrast of bright orange on the body and fins, bordered by thick bands of electric blue. A distinctive blue "girdle" covers the midsection and face, giving the fish its regal name. Unlike many of its larger Pomacanthus relatives, the Majestic remains relatively smaller, making it a favorite for moderately sized large-scale systems.

Ideal tank mates include peaceful Tangs, Anthias, and larger Wrasses.
